The Effort MAG
So now it’s time to see
Who is to be, and who is not
We’ll grab our sticks
We’ll scream and yell
All the way to Harvard or Yale
Testing, testing!
Do not disturb.
Can we survive?
Can we endure?
As our books come alive
and attack!
Shall we fight back?
I do hope it will not come to that
(Many a good student has painfully perished under a mighty #2)
Alas
We cannot stop
We must push on!
Pick up your pencils!
I’m calling to you!
The slacker, the rebel, the priss
Wake up and for once
Get with it
Oh, we must go on
Even if we have no cause
Other than proving them wrong
We must go on
As we wave our pencils high.
