The Life Of A Squirrel

Scratching and climbing, Jason climbed the old wooden picket fence.  As he searched he found a large pile of nuts.  Hungry he pounces near the nuts, shoved many of the nuts off the large pile and carried them a little distance away from the pile.  He notices large spikes sticking out around the pile, so he grabs a stick and shoves it onto the spikes.  All of the nuts are smashed into dust from the spikes, ice cold metal and sharp to the point.
Then my worst nightmare comes running out of the screen door, a redneck named Mr.Karsen, with a shotgun in hand.  The hungry redneck, twisted and angry, shot his shotgun at Jason missing by only a foot or two.  You could see his frizzy and long red hair, his torn lumberjack shirt and his long dirty overalls.
“Watch where you're shooting that thing!” Jason squeaked.  Jason ran around the yard looking for a quick exit.  Jason curled around each tree and circled a few once or twice to dodge all of the shots that Mr.Karsen shot.  He spots an exit on the other side of the yard, weaving around trees to hide he jumps through the hole and rolls until he comes to a halt.
“Come back, I only want to make squirrel tail soup,” Halored Mr Karsen.  Running around the fence he finds a little hole from where he entered and reached his tiny arm through and retrieved a couple of the nuts that survived the trap.  One by one he brings the nuts back into his home up in a tree, to him it was like a skyscraper reaching into the sky.  As the sun sets he curled up near the farthest wall from the entrance and fell  asleep.  The next morning, Jason crawls out of his home and climbs down the steep tree.
When Mr.Karsen stepped outside he felt a gentle breeze brush across his face, leaves blowing back and forth, and as he walked through the yard his boots got wet from the damp grass.  As the squirrel was wandering about the redneck was setting more traps to catch the squirrel.  His mind was like an abyss, you never know what's inside of it.  When he knew that all of the traps were set he went back into his house and waited.  He knew that now it would be easy-going trapping the squirrel.  Why can’t I catch this mischievous squirrel?  I just want to make him into squirrel tail soup.  Thought Mr.Karsen as he waited for him.
Jason on the other hand didn’t know that Mr.Karsen poisoned a pile of the nuts.  After searching and searching Jason returned to the yard for another go round with the crazy redneck.  Jason scratched his way over the fence, hopped onto the ground, and sniffed around for some nuts.  Jason felt like he was being watched.  Felt like he was being hunted.  Felt like something bad was going to happen.
Jason darted from left to right trying to find the nuts.  Then, Mr. Karsen walked out of the screen door with nothing in his hand and just watched the worried squirrel run frantically around.  Jason looked up at the redneck, stopping and staring, and just sat there for a minute.  Claws digging into the soil, heart racing, and tail rushing from side to side.  Jason tried to think of a way out of this death trap.  He saw the hole that he exited from before so he ran in that direction.  Jason then saw the pile of nuts, so he swung around and grabbed one.  After Mr.Karsen saw the squirrel grab the nut he stopped worrying about nabbing Jason.
Scratching and climbing, Jason climbed the fence to free himself.  He ran until he couldn’t see the fence behind him.  He stopped and ate what he thought was a harmless nut, but later he died.
