Just a normal day at school the classes always boring doing work and work every time, she starts calling names for attendence she goes one by one then it was my turn, she said “sammy are you here?” I said “here” then she just went on to calling my friends Sarah, Juan, Brad and Katelyn and the rest of class too. She started teaching again but I wasn't really paying attention, just me thinking that what would happen if one day all the adults would disappear out of nowhere? I had to go to the restroom. I raise my hand up and she looks at me and says “yes sammy?” i pointed outside of the door and told her “can i go to the restroom?” she said “yes of course let me write you a pass” i get up and started heading to her desk to get the pass and started heading to the restroom, i was only there for a couple of minutes then i start seeing everyone walk out of there class everyone was happy and very joyful, i was just standing there not knowing what was going on but it seemed to be that i was supposed to be happy to, all of a sudden i start seeing all my friends run towards me like if they were going to tackle me if i had the ball they started to jump joyfully and telling me at the same time that all the teachers were gone, my face was shocked that i started to smile at the same time. 

     My whole group of friends started laughing and we were heading out of the school not knowing that we should all be worried and realizing that we are all alone and not knowing what to do. I started thinking quietly that if all the teachers were gone, why are we still here? I started to see the streets empty the cars were empty to everything was empty it felt to quiet and lonely, that's when i realized that all the adults were gone nothing but kids like me, my face went from happy to being worried i told my friends and at first they didn't believe me but then they started to think and they also got worried all there faces were pale as a ghost, all i was thinking  about was that there's no rules, no guidance just cause… i told my friends “we don't know how to take care of ourselves, what are we gonna do? we can't go off on our own, we have no one older enough to guide us or tell us what we need to do!’ I was getting nervous. 

    My whole body was shaking until one of my friends Brad spoke and said “Don't panic, Sammy guys don’t panic, I have an idea.” until Katelyn said “oh yeah really when our parents disappeared i shouldn't panic your idea is not gonna work Brad were alone until who knows when maybe years or until we are all grown up to.” Sarah and juan just stayed quite trying not interfere the conversation that's going on they were scared to, we all took a deep breath and let Brad tell us what is his idea, he said “We all have to look out for each other no matter what we will be in a group and from there we will make it all of us.” When Brad kept on talking about us looking out for each other and that we will make it work, the panicking went down and felt more released we were still worried but more concentrated on the whole situation and from there went to look for some friends and more kids to stay with us and better for them not to feel lonely either. 

   That's how the whole beginning started and now our group has gone bigger and better we are looking out for one another even though we all miss our parents  and wished they were here but we don't know when or what time they are going to come back it's been two weeks since we have not seen one adult nor someone older than us but we are making it work for all of us, i am proud of myself and also the whole group to we will keep on doing our stuff until everything goes back to normal.
