The Monster in the Storm
Last night I dreamt of a tropical rainstorm, where thousands of stars appeared to have been falling from the night sky. Even the Red Sea could not compare to its beauty, for it looked like a painting by Vincent van Gogh himself, one that was composed of beautiful acrylics. However, among this beautiful image a deep crimson Oni stood within the middle, chastising me once again “Well, well look who’s inside again. Went out to look for a reason to hide again.”. My star-covered converse squeaked upon the wood when I turned to run from not only the monster in the storm but myself as well, the truths that had been spilled were more than I could handle by my lonesome.
