Play?
When i was a kid, i lived in the suburbs with my parents and older sister. I used to play all day with the kids in my neighborhood. My bedroom was on the first story of our house, so the kids would scratch out the word ‘Play?’ on my window to let me know when they wanted to play. Its been 30 years and i live alone now. I live in a completely different state, in a gated rural area covered in mostly evergreen trees, so i find it uncanny to still hear the scatching that they want to play.
