Lonliness
The rain felt gently from the sky. The wind lightly blew her curly red hair. Tears fell from her vibrant green eyes as she stood in the rain. Her best friend approaches her from across the street. He drapes his arm affectionately over her shoulder, looks into her teary eyes and says “Don’t worry, I know how it feels to lose a parent. There is no worse feeling.” They hear his mom calling him to come home from across the street. He kisses her forehead and then takes off in the direction of his mother’s voice.
