Her tears fall on his body and a voice in the back of her head tells her that tears are magical and can heal wounds. But another, more logical voice, reminds her that only happens in Disney movies. And Disney movies have princes and glass shoes and dragons. Her life is no Disney movie. No dragons will be slayed. No princes will ride white horses into the sunset. And if there were glass shoes, they would be smashed by now.
