Her Screams...
her screams cut through the night
injecting her poison in my heart
there is nothing i can do
except wait for her shrieks to stop
but they don't, they never do
ever since that night
when her innocence was taken
and never given back
i remember finding her
sitting in the park, on the swings
shaking and holding herself
but with one touch she screams
her eyes are wide with fear
arms flinging out, hitting me in the face
i grab her wrists and pull her close
and her sobs shake her body
i take her back home
holding her hand in mine
trying to comfort her but its too late
her laughter has vanished, her smile gone
