Lemon Bliss
The warm sunshine caressing your skin and dancing with the wind through your feathery hair. Your cheeks are flushed. You hear birds singing delicate melodies and harmonies. You submerge your hand and feel the warm water from the pool separate between your fingers through a shroud of ribbons. You can smell the mouthwatering scent of burgers mixing with the happiness and comfort of your true home.
As always your feet carry you with the direction of your flaring nostrils, trying to take it all in. Your eyes go straight to the homemade treat that your mom makes you whenever you come home. The tangy smell hits you and fills you with a hunger, a beautiful passion, that fills you up from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. The light glints off the golden ridges, coiling in bedazzling spirals coming to a peak where the voluptuous bright red cherry lays, stem and all. You swirl your finger around in the frothy center. When you get your first taste it is magnificent and glorious and oh so gratifying. You pucker your lips at the tartness but the creamy soft fluff enchants you. You know now there is only this one taste that will ever satisfy you. Here, now, in this eternal moment of bliss.
