He thought they were in love. She was just with two men. Tom loved Carmella.  Carmella loved Tom but she also loved Robert,the priest. She could never choose between them. Tom was dreamy and they had been married for years.  Robert was older and he was more loving and kind.

Robert knew Tom and Carmella were married.Tom had no idea that his wife was dating other people let alone the priest.  Carmella never felt bad though. She felt lucky to have two men love her as much as they did. Robert felt bad because he had to talk to Tom after every service. Tom even once told him he looked up to Robert. How could he do this to him?
Tom and Carmella went to church every Sunday. On this particular sunday Carmella had a date with the priest after the service. She told Tom to drop her off at walgreens so she could pick up a few things and that she would be back before dinner. Three hours seemed a bit much to Tom but he said okay. Ten minutes later Robert showed up for their date.
He took her to his favorite chinese restaurant. They ordered and talked. Halfway through their meal Carmella leaned in and kissed him. For some reason on this day Tom decided he wanted chinese food from one specific place.He walked in the door and there he saw his wife kissing the priest.
“Wow Carmella and with the priest” she looked up surprised
“Tom?” she asked still shocked “why are you here”
“Well I came to get food but I guess all I get is my wife cheating on me.” He stormed out the door. Carmella ran after him
“Tom,Tom  I’m sorry” she said as she climbed into the car. He didn’t say anything until they were in the house.
“Really?”
“Tom,I’m sorry”
“How long?”
“What?”
“How long?” he shouted as he slammed his fist on the table.
“About a year”
“Wow,” he mumbled while he stood there rubbing his face,“a year, do you love him”
“Yes I think I do”
“Do you love me?”
“I don’t know anymore”she said quietly looking out the window into the rain.
“Are you going to leave me?”
“I’m sorry” she looked back to him “ I just -I love him”
*Here is the thing to know about Tom he was not a very smart man also very irrational*
He saw a spoon on the counter.  He grabbed it in one quick motion.
“Tom-Tom what are you doing?”He didn’t answer he just dug out her eyes.
“TOMAS!” she shouted. She didn’t have much time she was losing consciousness  do to the blood loss. She tried to crawl away but she couldn’t see so it was easy for Tom to grab her and tie her to a chair. He went into the back yard and began to dig a hole and and soon as he was done her went in and grabbed Carmella’s unconscious body and threw it in the hole.
After a while Robert called Carmella’s cell phone when she didn’t answer he assumed her and Tom were still fighting.He called her back a week later when she didn’t answer that call he got a bit worried and drove over to her house. When he saw her car in the driveway he went around back. He saw a mound of dirt and thought the worst. Robert grabbed a shovel and began to dig when he touched something he began to dig with his hands. When he uncovered Carmella’s lifeless/eyeless body he panicked.
He remembered on one of their 1st dates she told him she hated how many guns Tom felt the need to buy.Robert got up and ran to the garage and looked around for awhile and in one of the tool boxes there was a handgun fully loaded. Just then he heard a car pull up.
Tom like everyday this week went into the back yard to check on the mound, but he found the preacher pointing a gun at him.
“Robert?”
“Yes,Tomas?”
“Isn’t that against one of the 10 commandments”
“This is an act of God you killed her now I’ll kill you” And he emptied three bullets into Tom’s head with his own gun. Robert buried Tom and Carmella together. He drove home made some tea and called the police on himself and smoked a cigar while he waited.
