They Came To Hear Me Beg
Chapter 1:
School
In school I wasn't smart or athletic, instead i just gave up on school. I was made fun of all my life. Being called “Hey, Shrimpy” or whatever name that can think of. Everyday when I walked home they followed me the ones who kept picking on me. They followed me to my Orphan House. After that day, I was heading to the pool, I never knew how to swim, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Every Time I did it I got better. The ast I was there The “Group” was there, they followed me.They formed a circle around me very quickly. They pushed me in and two of them jumped in with me and held me at the bottom. I quickly thought my life was over. As the others came up for a breath I stayed at the bottom It's been a minute 30 the longest I've ever held my breath. As I was sure I was about to die, I quickly realized that my life can't be over. I swam up gasping for air. As I got up I they came after me, I wasn't frightened because I have had experience from fights before to protect myself. I got out of the water one of them came after me. I ran after him, grabbed him and jumped into the water. He followed(he had no choice). I held him under the water and dragged him to the bottom. I knew he couldn't breath, because I saw fear in his eyes.I gave mercy. I let go and he quickly swam up gasping very loudly. The others helped him out of the water and ran away. I felt very proud of myself.
Chapter 2:
Caught My Eye
The day after the swimming pool, I felt amazing. I went to school. It’s been a Full 24 hours since the “Group” hasn't picked on me. I earned $20 from the previous day after yesterday and I bought some goods from our school concessions. I walked to Mcdonalds and ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a large soda. I waited for my food. When it was done I was starving. I ate fairly quickly. I was browsing the decor in the fast food restaurant and i noticed that they were there, the group was there. I watched them very slowly, they noticed me and they said “Hey”, and left without a word. I was puzzled. Was this the end of my bullied life? The next day I saw them again and they didn't even look at me. They just stared at me and I kept wondering what the heck was going on.
Chapter 3:
You Did What!?
It was sunday afternoon, the birds were singing, and the temperature was a cool 72 degrees. I went to my house. Sat down and sorta tried to enjoy my self. It was hard, trying to focus when there's other people living in the same home like you especially when there screaming, being a pack of wild animals. I was trying to enjoy my sunday afternoon like an normal person, but it's hard when Sister Mary keeps yapping at me like a angry dog. She knew what had happened at the pool, I really don't think she even cared that i almost drowned. All she said was “I’m Disappointed in you”. I was puzzled. Did she know the pain I was going through? I really might never know because “Life Itself is a Mystery.” I felt that my voice was powerless.
Chapter 4:
The End
Some of my friends in the house never believed me, when I told them the story about me almost drowning. They just called me fake like everyone else. Eventually as time passed they believed me as I started to go more into detail. I described how I almost drowned underwater. I told them how I actually managed to show them what I was saying was true. The Nuns finally believed after 10 agonizing hours of showing and explaining. Sister Ann was driving me home after we went to the pool because of the accident. We drove by Burger King, and I haven’t ate all day. I begged for us to stopped.
I ordered a Whopper large. Of couse I would have to work it off later because we didn't have a lot of money, But ever since I stood up for myself It’s been the best time of my live. No more bullying in fact one of the bullies named Craigg is my friend now. I guess everything worked A-Okay.
