It was a regular school morning for Jake he did everything that he needed to he got up he went down the hall to the restrooms and got dressed, did his hair, brushed his teeth, and then left for school but he didn’t realized something will change when he gets home. Jake got to his house took out the key that was hiding under the mat, he grabbed the key and unlocked the house
“Hello is anyone home” he called out, no one replied so he went to look around the house, there was no sign of anyone in the house and that's when he saw there was stuff scattered all over the place it was like a tornado came it the house and then he ran up to his parents room and everything was gone from mom's jewelry to dad's shoes. So he raced all over the house until he found a note on the table it read “ hi honey if you're reading this then we love you and we just had to get out, and it's going to be a while till we come back sorry honey.” He didn't know why they left so he had a plan because they always wanted to move to santa monica and live there so that's where he was going to look first. But he needed to call his sister first so he grabbed his phone, the phone started to ring, she finally answered
“Hello,” she said
“Um, mom and dad left me” jake said, “like they abandoned me here alone and left a note, can you come to the house”
“Sure i'll be there right now and i think i know a place where they might have gone so we will look there first” she said
“Okay bye,” jake said
When she got to the house we got in her car and drove to santa monica and we knew the exact place where they wanted to live, it was a house on the beach it had palm trees it had lots of flowers and it was just so pretty and sure enough when we arrived we saw there car in the parking lot so we waited and waited until they came to the car then we followed them to where they were staying and surprisingly they weren't staying at the place they always wanted to. That was really weird because they were staying at a hotel and we thought they would stay at the house that they liked. So we followed them and parked the car far from them so they wouldn’t see the car, then we walked carefully behind them so we wouldn’t make noise. They had finally got to there hotel room and we waited awhile to go to the door because we didn’t want to rush the door.
Once we got there waited for like five minutes because we didn't want to make it look like we were following them so it was about five mins and we went up to the door and knocked at first no one answered then we knocked again and they opened the door and it smelled so bad it was like something died and they were only there for like a couple hours, 
“Hi mom, hi dad” they both said,
“Why did you leave Jake alone, why didn’t you stay with him” emma said
“We left because we don’t know if we can take care of you guys anymore” the mom said, “we don’t feel like we're doing a good job”
“But you guys were doing a good job it was you and dad who didn’t think you were doing it correctly” Jake said
“What do we do now since we are here and it's the middle of the night, do you want us to leave or stay” we both said,
“Just stay and leave in the morning because we still aren’t going to take care of you, so that is why we arranged for you to be adopted by these really nice people that are coming here in the morning” mom said
“So you're going to give up on us your children” jake said
“Yea I guess” mom and dad both said “Now go to bed you guys have a big morning tomorrow”
“Fine we will” we both said, it was finally morning and there were two knocks at the door. Our mom answered the door and a lady and a man walked into our hotel room and said
“Hello kids my name is Mary and this is David” she said, “we will be leaving in a little bit so get your things and let's go”
“Okay we're coming because we didn’t bring anything so yeah” Jake said, “bye mom and dad see you guys never”
“Bye kids,” they both said and waved, then Jake and his sister went into Mary and David's car and left to San Francisco to spend the rest of their life there. When they got there the house was a complete disaster, there were books on the ground, dirty clothes and they had ugly wallpaper on the walls and there was this weird vibe it gave, like someone was watching us but it wasn't mary or david.
“Emma come here” Jake said
“What do you want” Emma said, “let me guess you miss mom and dad, well you have to get use to this life because these are our new parents”
“No it's not that, this house gives off a weird vibe” Jake said, “but i just don't know how to explain it”
“Okay but you still have to get use to it” Emma said, “let's just go see our rooms,” we both walked up the stairs emma walked to her room that was across the hall and i walked to mine that was on the opposite side of hers. Right when i walked in i practically almost died it smelt so bad, there was trash on the floor and who knows what's under it, there also were stains on the wall that looked gross and I think that made the room smell. I started to clean the room up a little and found more smelly stuff like more trash that was probably there for a while, I finish the floor and move on to the disgusting walls that should be torn down. I walked to emmas room and it was spot less she must have cleaned it up or her room was just really clean. Mary and david had left to go get groceries like a couple of hours ago and they haven’t came back looks like they left us to so I guess our real parents and adopted parents both hated us and left.
