I am a Couch
I am a couch: laid-back, lazy and low-pressure. A couch is a symbol of doing nothing and laziness. This is how I feel every night after my homework-- just wanting to lay on the couch.
I am a couch: Lazy yet hardworking. I work my hardest to make the people around me proud, just like a couch. A couch must be comfortable and sturdy or else it will be sent to the dump.
I am a couch. I work to be a team player, knowing that I must do my part in order to succeed. Yet doing this while keeping the teams goals in front of my personal aspirations. The couch puts its personal goals to better the lives of the people using it, while asking for nothing in return. A coach… a teammate.
I am a laid back, hardworking teammate: I am a couch.
This piece is a personal metaphor relating my life to a couch's life.
