The Confessions of Robert T. Odeman - April 3rd, 1942
They sent for me, Muli; and soon, I must go. And I know I must go -- for if I shall have a chance to survive, I cannot Nor can I run away, for not even remain here any longer. Nor can I run away, for not even Olga can take me in.
I know they’ll come for me soon, and I shall be ready, Muli. And I believe I’m ready to go now, Muli -- I have been for awhile -- ever since you left. But I learnt from you to keep going on, even after everyone else is gone.
And so, if I join you soon, Muli, than I will be ready. If my soul shall be take, Olga will come to be in possession of this, and perhaps all shall be lost. But if I get out of this dreadful mess, I will find you, Muli; I will find you; I promise I will.
