At the top of tomorrow waits the morning chirp of robins and cardinals at your windowsill. And if you jump into the present, you’ll land on a jaguar running open in the wild, then the swirl of loneliness sounds like sounds like the ringing in your head after a car crash, or the sadness of puppies smells like the fall rain dampening the fallen leaves. But when it’s all over the shape of the past fits inside the mouse hole in the Italian restaurant wall.
