Walking past the stores of floral and fun, I articulate all of the colors splurging together into one big theme in my eyes. A blue dress catches my gaze, matching the blueness of the lake in my left eye. The royal blue nails I just got done. The turquoise on the coffee shop sign. My mind pairs all of the blues together. Blue feels so familiar. My mind wanders to blue. Like a comfortable place. I search for all the blue around, picking and piecing what my eye catches. Even in the midst of sunshine, blue wanders, and lingerie. I begin to pick up my stride, seeking yellow.
