Raging Fans
They are the only ones who understand what the players feel. Eleven players on the field with jerseys and shin guards. Eleven players in the position. Eleven players ready for whatever. You can hear the crowd cheering, but the players are silent.
Their minds are running. They send furious faces between the other players. They jump up and down, preparing themselves for the game. The whistle is blown.
The crowd is going wild. They are stuffed together. They would all fall in the stands if it wasn’t for the railing. Shoot, shoot, shoot they chant as a player dribbles. He scores.
They are all too happy, they are too loud, and they forget everything but the game. When the game is over. Eleven players won the game. The eleven players who play just for fun.
