The Edge of Shock
It cannot be true. It's not real. All these disbelieving thoughts are racing through my head. I think they are lying to me. They stare at me and their eyes look so sad and sincere. They just know that I have to believe them somehow. My mind has stopped moving, or rather it
's in slow motion. It can't wrap itself around the fact that my grandfather has passed away. Shock hits me full in the face ten minutes later, knowing my brain is not used as a torture chamber. It finally lets me cry.
