Jacob knew this familiar sight. A classroom, a high school classroom. When he wasn’t doing his work he would often stare off at the information that was scribbled on the white board. He could honestly care less how the AP calculus class was learning twelve step equations. But it was better than what he was doing what he was supposed to be doing. In fact he couldn’t remember what he was supposed to be doing. He thought deep about it. The only thing that was able to pop up was fractions. Unfortunately his paper did not agree with him. On his sheet it had a bunch of shapes with hash marks all over them. Jacob finally remembered. It had something to do with congruency and angles. The hunger that was causing stomach to ache put him out of focus. But Jacob forced himself to work on the sheet, despite the fact he had o earthly idea what he was doing. He read the only question found on the sheet.
DETERMINE IF EACH PAIR OF
TRIANGLES IS CONGREUENT
He remembered the work now. He also remembered how easy it was. He pulled himself straight and got to work.
