“No! No, I’m not crazy! Mom don’t let them take me! If you really loved me you wouldn’t let them take me!”

“I-I’m sorry. I love you! We’ll visit!”
CLANK. The locks click shut. BANG, CLICK. The door is shut and locked. Shutter, click, click. The engine sputters to life. And all the while I’m screaming.

Screaming at them to let me out. Screaming that I’m not crazy. Because I’m not. I’m. Not. Crazy. No one believes me though. Even my therapist didn’t, I could see it in her eyes. The disbelief of the truth even as she told me she believed me. I’m not crazy, I’m sane. Perfectly abnormal normal.

But yet here I am, in a rolling prison. Locked into a straight jacket. And they’re talking to me, the voices. And I’m being taken to Lilly Rose Insane Asylum. It’s a pretty name, and an even prettier place. But lets face it, the people in there are insane. That’s why they’re there.

They’re insane and I am I’m not.
