The Three Words
Dear whoever comes across this,
Did you know that three words could save a life? Destroy one? Make one worth living? Three words were said to me a year ago. Three words bring tears to my eyes whenever I hear them. Three words. I. Love. You.
I didn’t know that those were the last words he would tell me before he was sent to his death. Why would the army do such a thing? Not only did they take my brother all those years ago and my best friend too. Cruel things happen in life. It just makes moments more special.
My boyfriend went into the army this year. I love you was the last words I heard. Finally I decided that my pain was too much. I joined him on the battlefield, and we fell together. This is for you my friend who is reading this. Remember I fought ‘till the end.
War is horrible. It kills. Destroys. But it also shows we love who we are and we fight for each other. Never tell someone you hate them. Love those around you even the ones you can’t stand. Love is the key to happiness in life. All it takes is…………three words.
With much love,
Rosemary
