A Cooking Lovw
Jackie had just got home from the grocery store. Her husband was cleaning and really mad because she hadn’t been home to help clean because his parents were coming over and they needed to have the house nice and clean for them. Jackie had never cooked before, her husband did all the cooking or they went out to eat. She’d never cooked a meal ever before in her life. But since John was mad she had to do it. So she took all of her groceries too the kitchen and pulled out a recipe she was going to cook. She was freaking out to the thought that she had to cook. She started pulling things out mixing spices and roasting the chicken. She figured out that she left something in the car and decided to go get it.
Timmy was his name, he loved to eat food and he would always sneak in the trashcan to get Jackie and John’s leftovers. He knew how to mix and match other foods. He had been reading cookbooks at night while everyone was asleep. He had saw the way John was acting to Jackie, he had been putting pressure on her because this dinner was important to him because he wanted his parents to see that he was happy and he was being a successful young man. Timmy decided he was going to take matters into his own hands. He scurried out of the hole in the wall and jumped on the counter. Jackie had sorted all the spices and everything on the counter. Timmy figured that all he had to do was just mix things because the chicken was already on the stove. So, he crawled up the stove and started pouring spices in.
Jackie came in and she didn’t see Timmy so she started finding the cookbook and trying to find the ingredients. They weren’t on the table where she had put them. She started getting suspicious.looking everywhere. And then she finally looked over to the stove and there Timmy was on top of the stove fixing the dinner. Jackie never really liked mice but she didn’t scream because she had heard things happening in the kitchen at night but never wanted to get up and wake her husband up. She gently walked over to the stove and watched to see what he was doing. She had been going over the recipe so much she figured out that Timmy was doing it right and she just sat there until Timmy saw her.
Then, John walked in and saw that Jackie was just standing there. “Why are you just standing there? Get your butt over there by the stove and fix the dinner for my parents!” It startled Jackie and she jumped. Timmy had scurried away because he was scared because of what John had done. He didn’t wanna get caught and be killed. Jackie went over to the stove and was trying to figure out where Timmy had left off. But then John left and she tried to find Timmy so he could help her finish the recipe. He finally came out of the hole and she lifted him up and they started cooking together.
Jackie and Timmy worked together as a team. They knew how to work together. She had a certain job and so did he. When they cooked together the meal was amazing. Even, John thought so. Jackie had impressed John parents, they loved her meal so much they had decided to come back the next week and talk about what their future plans were. Jackie and Timmy practiced over and over late at night so nobody would see them. John and his parents had asked Jackie to cook spaghetti. That was a recipe that took a lot of work, from making the tomato sauce to cooking the noodles and making sure they were the right temperature. Timmy and Jackie had studied the recipe and knew that they had to be really specific.
It was the day they had to cook for John’s parents. John was in a really bad mood but was in a worse one today due to the fact his parents were coming and that Jackie might mess the meal up again and embarrass herself. Jackie had went to the grocery store and gotten all the ingredients they needed to make the spaghetti with. When Jackie got home she did the normal routine, lay out ingredients, pull out the pots and turn the stove on. Somehow Jackie had to get John out of the house for a while so she could cook the spaghetti with Timmy. He made him go get extra food for a salad and get some paint because he needed to paint the outside deck.
Timmy hopped on the counter to see how the noodles were doing. While he was doing that he lost his balance and flipped into the pot and starting burning up. Jackie later came in to check on them and she saw Timmy struggling in the pot and started freaking out! When she lifted him out she took him and put him in a huge pot of cold water. She knew that if he didn’t get warmer she would be in big trouble. He finally got colder and Jackie realized that she needed him more than anything and they kept making food together till the end.
