Ally the Gator
I’ve been a police spy for almost 7 years, and in the dog-eat-dog world, I thought I had seen eveything there is. I’m going to tell this story straight up from the horse’s mouth. A couple years ago, a man had a pet that he thought was the cat’s meow. It was a cat, it wasn’t even a dog, it was an alligator. At first he thought it was cool. It was just a baby and only a foot long for so long. He kept it squirreled away in his backyard. Then, when people came he would monkey around with it and they would hoof it out of there. He’d just laugh because Alley was all bark and no bite.
As time passed, Alley grew. Soon, she was more than 6 feet long. The man came to realize that if the police found out that he had Alley his goose would be cooked. It ws time to take the bull by it’s horns. Late one night, the man and his friend wrapped Alley in a blanket and took her to the closest lake. It was very hard but the man set Alley free. The man thought that he would never see Alley again but he did, and so did many other people. For a while Alley seemed to play cat and mouse with the officials to avoid getting captured. The man didn’t catch Alley but he did catch the man who put her there.
When the man got to the bottom of the case, he told the man that put Alley out that he was going to eat crow. He was barking up the wrong tree, with the man. At the drop of a hat, the man that put Alley out had a question. He thought it was the best thing since a slice of bread. The man had a penny for his thoughts! So he didn’t listen to the other mans question. It took a while, but both the “criminal” and Alley was caught. Now one was in jail and one was in the zoo. Now Alley was at a wild goose-chase, but Alley still liked it there. She made new friends, she wasn’t stuck in the house all the time. She also learned that birds of a feather flock together.
Since Alley was off one’s rocker and didn’t like to do things as much she had to go to school. Alley just wouldn’t be caught dead! She did not want to go to school, but she also wanted a fine-tooth comb. School Turned out fine for her and she actually liked it.
