Cascading through space would be hectic for most, but she was Time, remaining unmarred by the planet’s descent. She had existed inside the star her entire life anyway.
"Daddy." the little girl said.
"Hm?"
"Why is time a girl?"
"Because daddy always ends up losing it."
"You mean like mommy?"
"No. Like you, baby girl."

I began thinking of ideas for this 55 word challenge written piece and decided on creating a main character who was also time. I unintentionally made Time a girl and began thinking how I would respond to people asking why. Etc.
