Tara constantly snuck out of her window. She hated being cooped up in that house with just her grandma for company. Even though it was on the third floor, there were vines all over the house that were easy to climb down. One day she was half way out the window when her door began to open and she saw her grandma start to walk in. She froze for half a second, just staring from the edge of her window sill, and then burst into motion! All she saw were flashes of green as she climbed down the vines she was flying down. Tara knew that her grandma was thundering through the house to get to her. She had climbed almost two and a half stories of vines and was close to the ground. The second before she had felt her heart racing from fear now it was from excitement.  She hit the ground running, she felt so free running away from that dust bunny of a house. Then she thought about her window, she had left it open, that brought an even bigger smile to her face. Her grandma wouldn’t close that window, she could just imagine her curtains blowing free all the sunlight flowing in. She felt very defiant in that moment and thought, she was free and so was her window.
