Mansion in the woods
Mansion in the woods
One fierce fall from the steep wooden stairs made Seri hurt. Her head slammed into the ground forcefully. She tried to stay calm, but all she could think of was the killer. The dizziness of when she stood up was too much to handle. She sat down for a few minutes. The killer could be coming anytime now, she thought to herself. The dizziness didn’t last long, but the pain was still there. She did her best to move on. She ran down the slightly dimmed hallway. She found a cracked door. She first peeked in, then stepped in. It was quiet and pitch black. Siri tried turning on the light switch. The switch might be broken or the light bulb might be burnt out. She wondered what happened to Tony. She felt around the room and stumbled into a bed. Then she slid under it. She heard the door burst open. Seri even locked it. She heard loud footsteps walk into the room. Her heart was racing like a racehorse. She held her breath when the loud steps came close to the bed. She felt cold hands wrap around her skinny ankles. She got pulled out fast. She got up and there was a gun pointed towards her head. The killer pointed a flashlight at his face. It was Tony! She said, ’’ you were the killer! He said, “that's right, sweaty. I took care of your friends and I saved the best for last. Happy anniversary.’’
Only sixteen hours earlier, The sun rose. Beautiful bright colors filled the light blue sky. The light beamed off the tall skyscrapers of New York. Rebecca , has long hair and is kinda c***y,Charles, he’ s short and kinda mean and Seri is nice and is very kind we're packing for a trip Tony planned. Everyone had no idea where the she were going. The only thing that Tony told everyone was that it was in the woods. When everyone was getting ready to go, they heard a yelp in the other room where Rebecca was. He rushed in. She laid on the hard wooden floor. He had asked what happened. She told him that she dropped her suitcase on her foot. But she was okay after a while. She just had a little limp. Everyone was ready. Tony and the others put the luggage in the car. Then they got in. The truck was a little trashed because Tony never cleaned it. The engine started.
They were on the road now. They were still in the huge city. Now there on the open road with the windows down with the wind slapping their faces. Three hours passed by. There in the middle of nowhere. Everyone was asleep except for Tony and Seri. The two were dating. This was their third year anniversary. Tony usually never remembered because he forgot the first and second so it didn't surprise her that he forgot the third. They talked for a while until she fell asleep. When everyone woke up they were on the side of the road. Tony was at the front of the truck. Charles got out to see if he needed any help. Tony said no, the oil was low so he was filling it up. He closed the hood and started it up.
A little bit after they stopped on the side of the road, people were up and ready to be at the destination. They drove into a dense forest with some light peaking through. Another hour went by and they were finally there. They pulled into a huge driveway. The house was a dark grey with a shattered window up on third story. They stepped out of the car. Everyone was so glad to finally get out and stretch. The porch was rotting away. Charles stepped on one of the cracked boards and his leg fell through. He got his leg out with a couple scratches but he was fine. They walked through the metal door that was as hard as stone. The wooden floor creaked like little voices yelling from a distance. The rooms were also kinda creepy, but they would have to do. They unpacked and rested for awhile.
It was almost night now. They were all in the living room by the dancing hot fire. Tony totally disappeared. He probably went to bed or something.. Rebecca went to the bathroom on the first floor. A few minutes later there was a scream. This wasn't a normal scream, this was a death scream that sent chills through Charles and Seri. They checked to see what had happened to Rebecca. They went to the bathroom. She lay in the bath tub with the blood flowing down the drain. Siri started to cry because they were such close friends. She asked herself why would someone do this. This was cruel. But she decided to leave be cause she thought the killer might be watching her every move. Charles and Seri went to the huge steel door. They tried to open it. The killer must have locked it somehow from the outside. Sweat was dripping out her brow. They both ran to the third floor. Seri thought Charles was right behind her, but when she looked back he was gone. He must have gone to the room right beside her. She heard another deep yell. It must have been charles. She was so frightened by now. Another friend she had lost. No one could help her except herself. She bolted through the door and headed for the stairs.
