“Its game day here in Alabama and this Crimson Tide is ready to return the kick ,” the announcer chants.

The ref blows his whistle to signal the ok to the Ole Miss kicker-- It's a boot down the field to our over excited second year starter senior Matt Knicks. He receives the kick and foots it up the sideline then stiff arms the gunner as he is popped on his cut back by the safety at the 35 yard line.
The excited Bama offensive line got set and Ny John got lined up in the back field in I-formation. Our QB shouts a strong “SET! HIKE! HUT!” He side step left deceivingly, cuts fiercely back to the right swiftly receiving the ball, and then naturally hits the hole. The bright light ahead as he strides thru that defensive line, only to see open field his coach red faced yelling “Go! Go! Its home son!” He opens stride and sprints past the secondary as they scramble he sees the 50.. then the 40! Then the other 30! The 20! The 10! its to the house! His first touchdown as a junior there is no better feeling. Coach took him out for the next play and his best friend Matt jumps at me happily as we do our handshake then dab. On the sideline Ny John smiles as if he's thinking of something ...

On Sunday evening Ny John was in the film room studying his next opponent Ole Miss. It was a tradition at this point. A faithful process: Twizzlers and water with every session.
Only a hour and a half of focus even when Ny John wasn't a starter as a back up he also believed proper preparation prevents poor performance this was his ‘Key to Success’. In return the team could be in better chances of winning one game at a time one week at a time.
He walked with his head high at any point of it falling was stopped at the thought of his Father's words ‘Be proud with a head high and success is not far out in front’ you could say his goals were set even higher. He grabs the locker room door handle it's warm inviteful feeling and yanked it open it was enlightening as many Crimson tide players acted out the say process he took at that moment time and time again. The main room musky tangy smell of cleats, and gloomy casted over him while the familiar warbling shower dripping consumed him. It was something new. A sound. Rumbling “by the lockers maybe?” he thought to himself, tearing and rumbling got louder as he turned the corner entering the ‘inner circle’ locker room area striking me like lightning Johnny and crew of groupies rushed him mind you these groupies were as big as Mac trucks. Ny John was grabbed quicker than a linebacker jumping the play up the middle, Johnny wobbled over with his left leg up and his weight carried by the shiny silver crushes that flashed in the gloomy cast and like the light when you hit the hole it just hit him.
Ny John on his way back to his dorm bruises on his side and chest he’s stumbling into his dorm lobby where Matt was gaming playing fifa with some teammates, Matt heard the noise and when he noticed it was Ny John he rushed over trying to juggle his best friend back to his feet. Matt plopped them up to their room, “The walk it wore me down”, “i hit my head after Johnny's groupies jumped me.” He added. “They jealous or something? He lost his chance to be the starting running back when he decided to step into ‘the thug life’ he is coward with no direction.” Matt protested as he called coach informing he on what he about what happened with Ny John and Johnny it wasn't going thru the coaches head right as he was with his family and he took it as if they were fighting then before you knew it the whole o-line was at the door knocking asking for them to come out.
Matt gripped the warm, metal handle and fiercely pulled it open and showed them Ny John laying there wore down and bruised, “So Johnny did the?” The o-line asked. They stormed off quickly in search for Johnny.
A loud urgently knock at the door, Matt immediately jumped groping the warm metal door handle twisting it open. Instantly Matt was yoked up out of the door by some of the groupies, they roughed him up for snitching and warned him of what could come if they say more to coach.
It was already time for dinner. Ny John woke up sternly ,painfully trying to get out of his bed. Unexpectedly Matt was on his side, Ny John curiously walked over seeing the ice pack covering his left black and blue eye. Pissed and anxious Ny John angrily went out the the room and left out to his not so new car. His father had gave him that car for his graduation. He took off speeding down the road where the coach loved, thoughtfully he opened and closed the door softly after he pulled up to the country home. He moved quickly to the all wooden porch painted white, where its light shined and the swing swung in the evening breeze.
Ny John knocked keenly on the also wooden whitely painted door hearing closely for footsteps which approached swiftly, coach opened the door calmly but quickly was upset do to what he was informed about from Matt not to long ago. Unsure of what occurred of what happened early coach asked him to break it down, Ny John assured him he was fine and that Johnny had him jumped after his film session and that Matt was attacked too but wasn't in no serious pain-- “I'll get to the bottom of it before the sun is set tonight son. Go check up on Matt and make sure you two are in for the night!” Like that my night was over.

Coach came up to me on the sideline  and said I'm proud of how you handled that and be glad to know the cops have arrested him not long ago, now get out there it's a ‘Pull Latter Toss’.
The tackle pulled left he looked for the toss received and found the open out in space breaking thru the secondary for another touchdown in the game. He realized that he always finds the open even in jealously he finds the light.

its a realization in the charactor he sees the light from the open hole in his offensive live and that same light of realization comes in life.
