I am the engine
Fresh off the assembly line I shine. The intricate design is so simple to those who created it. It is ready to be placed in the car to finish the masterpiece. When the engine runs for the first time, it roars to life and brings the once empty shell to life.
On the road for the first time, the engine revs with excitement as it anxiously waits to launch the car forward. The car is put in drive and the accelerator is pushed down. The engine obeys the commands and propels the car at high speed. Screams of joy emit for the hood as it booms down the freeway. Within seconds the engine is able to power the metal beast to high speeds.
The drive home is enjoyable for the engine too. The low revving joy ride brings peace to it. A slow drive on the back roads until the car reaches its final destination.
As the key turns, the engine sleeps. It dreams of the next drive and how it will work its hardest to power the car the whole ride.
