Twenty- Four eyes
Twenty-four eyes sit on eight people. Six eyes have experienced the world and eighteen transpire as the innocent eyes of children. My Dad with four eyes only two of them saw near death after experiencing two strokes. My Mom, with two eyes, glistens like icicles that watch and take care of her six children. My brother, with four eyes, remains optimistic and clear, only wanting two eyes to conquer the world yet needing all four to see his future. Me, with two concerned although hopeful eyes, watch over four innocent bodies. Erika, my sister with two adventurous eyes, stays so confident like a lion. The twins have eight eyes they use to get into mischief from secret handshakes to late night trips to the candy cupboard. Taiya with two eyes sees all the happiness the world brings her; the spark of innocence still rests in the conners of her eyes. So many eyes and so many feelings still the oldest six eyes have experienced the world and eighteen transpire as the innocent eyes of children.
