I just saw you then comin round the corner, your eyes shining in the light of the late summer sun. Your tie hung loose round your muscular neck, your arms flexed as you carry your school bag home.
Maybe you see me... maybe.

Probably not.
Your getting closer now...too close.
My heart is beating too fas. I can heart it.
My head is yelling: "RUN!" But i cant because your here, your nxt to me. Your skin brushed mine and i felt it.

You looked back at me and said...
"Oh im sorry..." you looked at me... "Oh, hey havent i seen you before?" I should have told you you'd seen me everyday on this same spot for five years but you didnt care and i didnt tell you.
I listened to my head.
I ran.
I ran across the road hoping it was safer for my beating heart on the other side.
I didnt see the headlights.
Or hear the drivers horn.
But i can say i never made it across that road.
And now all i can think about as i stand on that corner is...
