Don't Make Me Cry
I looked at the mirror, then turned away, my body convulsing, my heart palpitating. From then on I made a manifesto. I had enough of caring; for when I did, the tears ran, the hair fell, the red dripped. I had enough of caring, for inside me something was eating me alive, consuming to fill an ever insatiable hunger. I told myself that I am soulless. I am a callous black core. I am devoid of sensation. I am nothing.
Then I met you. Then I loved you, and you..you were the breaking point. The emotions came flooding back to me. I cried...and baby I really don’t want to cry anymore.
