“I can’t wait 2 meet u ;)” Anabelle, 1:36 A.M.

That semi-colon next to that parenthesis was the closest I’ve ever gotten to catching a girl winking at me, but in only 14 hours and 24 minutes, her big blue eyes would be staring into me! Her long, flowing blonde hair would be brushing against my shoulder in love’s first embrace! That blonde hair...the first thing I noticed when I clicked on her profile picture 3 months and 5 days ago. Never had I seen hair so full of life...even through a computer screen, 473 miles away! But in 10 hours and 17 minutes, it will be 0! She told me she loved how I look in my pictures, too...neat, black hair, tall, broad frame, toned muscles...I knew she would be interested. And just in case the appearance ceased to impress, i made sure to read up on all of the music, books, and movies listed in her “about me” section so she could swoon over how much we had in common. A fine taste, I may add! Very mature for a girl only 23 years old. Luckily, my dreams were fulfilled...leading to this countdown of 10 hours and 11 minutes...10 minutes…I really ought to get some sleep for the big day.

Today is a beautiful day, but I am sure it is not nearly as beautiful as my dear Anabelle will be! Only 7 minutes until her arrival. I don’t usually arrive early to places, but I wanted to assure I was fully prepared, and if she happened to be early, I would not want to spend another single second without her! Oh goodness, there she is, just as beautiful as her pictures--no! Even more beautiful as her bright curls bounce on her back and her hips confidently sway back in forth in her tight blue jeans...but I must approach her slowly so as to not startle my darling. I may not look exactly identical to the pictures on my profile, but...age is just a number, right?
