A Tree and A Phone
You go past me, and I watch hopelessly as you light up, but I'm not the reason why. The reason is because you're getting so much attention from others, and you go evverywhere, and see everything, and I'm here, always here, waiting for you to just pass by again. I see you look at me sometimes, and see right through me. Sometimes you take pictures of me, and I'm too shy to say hi so I hide beneath the leaves and close my eyes. I know you don't love me, and will soon go on to the nexy guy, but just know that if you ever get left behind, ditched for a younger, "prettier" model, I'll still be here, extending my arms, holding them open, waiting for you to be in them.
