Broken Record
Loving him is like playing a broken record on repeat. All of the sratches are destroying what was a beautiful tune. You love the song but you know somewhere in the middle of it, it will skip and the song will be ruined. The needle goes off the track and all it does is create more heartache. Rather than buying a brand new record, you play the same, broken one because you can't get rid of it. You invested your time and money into that record. Constantly staying up all night listening to it, until the damage was too much. You love it so much and would rather listen to it ruin your favorite song, instead of giving it up.

Love sometimes isn't recipricated and all it causes you is pain, but you try to hold on to the happier moments, and somehow that is enough to keep you holding on.
