Daylight No More (First Couple Paragraphs)
An illusion, a fairy tale, a dream. I’m not too certain on those. A nightmare. It always seemed like one. Reality. That’s what I was always told. I don’t really know what it is anymore, other than the fact that it haunts me. I am never free.
I could have begun this story with those famous words, “once upon a time...,” but I chose not to. This isn’t a fairy tale like people may think. This is the story of a teenage girl who’s life turned upside-down when she went out with some of her friends. This story is about what happens to her. All the struggles, decisions, and so on. Who might that young girl be? Her name is Ashton Falton. That girl is me.
