Where are the children?
Mary Higgins Clark is the author of twenty National bestsellers. Where are the children? Was her first best-seller. This best selling book changed her life and decided her career path, as she was a widower trying to raise and support five children.
I really enjoyed this suspenseful novel. The main character Nancy lives in a very small town in Cape Cod. She is a housewife in a happy marriage raising two children. Through a series of events you discover that she had a terrible secret.
The secret is revealed near the end of the novel, but there is a very surprising ending. This is very suspenseful and griping.
In conclusion, this book was easy reading and easy to follow. There were many twists during the book, which made it very enjoyable to read. I liked the book so much I want to read another one of her forty-two books.
