I was walking around my backyard and look at my dog “ Why do you always do that?” He says nothing as usual. “I would do something like scold you but.” I never finish and stand up and walk to the shed going to my bed. ”The other kids can’t know they just think I’m emo and anti-social, never mind” I turn to my side ”they can’t know about the dual abilities fire and water” I fall asleep. I wake up and get ready for school my black t-shirt and shorts with my dark gray jacket and head out the shed looking at the house where my big brother and the rest of my family live. At school I do everything I normally do which includes me avoiding everyone and people avoiding me.
As I got my lunch some guy bursts in with a flaming dagger in his hand “If anyone of you move I will kill you” he said at that moment one teacher runs at him he slides the dagger up and stabs him in the back. Everyone looks at the bleeding teacher on the floor “I have to do something” I yelled, everyone turns and looks at me. I step up both hands covered with water “You won’t hurt anyone anymore.” I said as he charges me slashing. I dodge the fiery dagger hitting him in the back with my elbow. He lays sprawled out on the floor, two teenagers my age then burst through the window and start running towards me. I take off running to my house and they follow me shouting “Get back here!” as I keep on running the girl jumps in front of me with a staff and the boy with a sword.
“Why did you do that to your own school?” The boy asked wielding his flaming sword at me. I sigh “Did you guys not see the guy with the flaming dagger on the ground?” I asked “No but, we thought you did that,” the girl said I looked at her “I don't have a flaming dagger or any weapons only my hands.” I said. The sword remains in my face “Then why did you stop him you obviously don’t fit in or even talk to the other kids” the boy said “Yeah but, I couldn’t let them die. Now if you don’t get your sword out of my face I´ll make you pay for it.” I said “Yeah like you ca-” he stopped as my hand caught on fire and one was enveloped in water and hit the sword out of his hand. “How did you do that?” The girl asked stepping forward with her staff “It's called magic so let me get home or else.” I said walking past them as they look at me confused.

I lay on my bed looking at the shed roof when I hear a knock at the door “Hold on” I said getting up and walking to the door. The two kids from before were standing there “Hi” the girl said “Hey” I replied. “what do you guys want?” I looked behind them to see my older brother standing there grinning at the house on fire. I run past them and try to put out the house. My brother turns to me “Oh hey little brat finally showing yourself to us, huh well too late” he said “you won’t put that out because you're weak and under trained” he runs up to me and a flaming axe pops out from the flames and tries to hit me but right then my hands start shaking I dodge and run to the boy  ¨Hey give me your sphere thing¨ I said looking at him “What? Why you are a water elemental” he said my brother getting closer “Just give it to me” he looked at me then sighed giving it to me “Well here goes nothing” I said activating the flaming sword and charging my brother the house burning down behind us. We start clashing the sword against the axe over and over the constant clang of the fiery metal. A couple of seconds later he and I were both on the ground he gets up and runs away as I stand up and walk to the other kids.
