“Proposal of Adequate Treatment for the Phenomenon of Bullying”
It always bring people intense anxiety when they see someone wander alone, with dim eyes and shut mouth and a bunch of fellow classmates speaking at his back—in the aspect of most audiences or outsiders, they are often labeled as bullied. However, in a closer view of their peers, such pupil always have such reputation of being unsociable or wrecked in psychological manner among their companions rather than the usual comments of being gregarious or affinitive. Surly this abnormal phenomenon in a modern senior high school needs a effective solution for it is essential for pupils to practice collectivism to thrive in such a home culture and society.
I hold to the point that the abysmal harm of the bullied individual to the macrocosmic group is, and ought to be agreed by all the peers, educators, and janitors in high school community. Seeing such deplorable faces making such a contrast to the happy crowd would surely be a nuisance to people’s sight, not to say all these meaningless grievances are apparently inappropriate in such a glamorous and noble place solely for the pursue of knowledge and companions. Therefore, whoever that founds an solution considered economically efficient, socially acceptable by most, and beneficial to the school atmosphere shall deserve the highest of honors.
However, I, having persistently held on to thoughts of collectivism at the moment I was self-conscious and having always practiced the behavior of isolating the individuals not conformed to such noble palace of knowledge, have found a affectively practical way in dealing with such individual being socially unbeneficial. In most cases through my sufficient personal experiences, the bullied individual would first suffer from strong sense of isolation considering the fact that humans are social animals scientifically. This often lead to a strong decrease in his level academics for his concern were often put in solving the problem of isolation and catering the bullies to earn belongingness to the group. Also, later mental issues may be generated from the negative social feedbacks by the bullies.Imagine what an agony it is, for people under such conditions! As a response to the problems above, my solution not only effectively prevents such existence or generation of mental issue, but also solve the problem in a method economically beneficial to the functioning of the school.
In most cases, the rate between the people bullying and the individuals bullied varies between a range of oneamong five and one among ten, meaning that there would be at least three who are directly bullied, or in a more remote manner, indirectly isolated in a class of thirty. Considering the existence of seven classes existing each with population varying from thirty to forty, there would be at least twenty-one bullied among the year according to the statistical model, although the number may be far more abundant in reality. Assuming the circumstance to be most positive in the case that this problem of isolation may be eventually downplayed in sixty percent of individuals in one semester, there are still eight that remain to suffer such phenomenon. Even if people assume that another fifty percent in the remaining forty would have normal social life in a school year, which is considered as two semesters, there still remained to be four in abnormal state. I believe such image of melancholy only because of such few individuals should be resolutely eliminated considering the unified image of majority that ought to exist in the school.
Considering the fundamental principle that the thinking of each individual in a group must be strictly unified without acceptance to any heterodox, I shall thereforepresent my solution for such individuals.
Having been informed and assured by someone who, in my class that are a particular expert in disposing such individuals that people bullied are, in most cases, not suitable in being educated with groups. Therefore, I appeal that they should be expelled from high school community and sent to asylums funded by the government for remedying their thinking pattern and mental health.
I have consulted with a friend particularly advanced in the branch of neuroscience, and that gentleman implied to me that there are parts of brain in human body thatinstruct people to react towards social signals. According to his information, an experiment of the injection of drugs that alters the individual’s original structure has been taken in past two years. Although the drug has not been proven completely safe, it is still worth a try to inject isolated people with such drugs to make them socialize as majority does. In this way, the experiments on the isolated individuals not only promoted the unification of the school community, but also benefits the advancement of technology in their contribution to the experiment of new drugs that could in later days used in bringing collectivism into complete dominance.
Indeed, there would certainly be some to still worry that it is the bullied who suffers and that it would be morally appropriate to induce punishment on the persecutors. However, considering the most cases, these individuals are bullied for a certain reason that make them deserve such abnormal treatment. Having the thinking that differed from the majority, there is no doubt that they ought to be despised by the most. If there is a large majority practicing imposition of loath or prejudice towards an individual, then the individual must be, in almost all situations, guilty because they live their life against the group’s will, which represents absolute righteousness in the high school community. The rights of defining truth and righteousness, in my position, ought to always be in the hands of the collectivistic groupwhich represents the intelligence, courage, kindness, and all noble traits that an ideal society ought to obtain. As a result, the culprit of bullying should be the one victimized and subdued due to the principles the majority defines righteousness.
Thirdly, expelling the bullied instead of expelling the bullies saved financial budget for the school to maintain its appropriate functions. Considering the statistical result of the average number people who remains to be bullied and unwilling to socialize after a school year based on the model in previous parts of the appeal, there would only be eight to expel in a semester and four to expel in the longer timeline of a school year. Assuming the personal tuition to be thirty thousand per people, considering the fewest population of thirty, the tuition for a class of thirty would be a hundred and fifty thousand, and the tuition for all classes assuming there are seven ought to be one million and fifty thousand. Assuming that four among the whole grade are left to be bullied by the end of the school year, expelling four minorities would only generate a loss of a hundred and twenty thousand in school budget. However, if the school choose to expel the bullies, the loss of budget would be one million and eighty thousand according to the least possible ratio of one in ten between the bullied and the bullies according to the previous statistic model. Therefore, expelling the culprits of bullying—the minorities would to a greater extent reduce the loss of school budget and maintain its normal function, not mentioning that the bullied deserved to be expelled due to the fact that collectivism promotes the majority to define righteousness.
I hereby pledge, that I make such appeal only to promote the collectivism that are agreed by all with the reputation of being the most beneficial to the society. I have esteemed collectivism under parental influence since birth, and I have not a bit personal motivation in this proposal but to positively affect the school community and thus the society.
