They Must Not Get It
They must not get it.
They must not understand.
They must not even care.
They say things that hurt and even kill, but it doesn’t matter to them.
To them it’s just a game.
To them it’s just a joke.
But to us, it’s what we fear.
It’s what we hate.
It’s what makes us cry and hurt.
It breaks our hearts and kills us even more every day. Because no matter how fast we run away, the words are just scars in our memories.
Because no matter how hard you try to forget, the memories can never be forgotten.
They can never be erased. How can they not realize how easily their words tare us apart?
It’s not that we are fragile; it’s that we are tired of being too strong.
