Back Then
I don't think I can remember a day
I didn't think of that time
When we were friends.
When we would laugh, and whisper.
Gossip about others.
I think, looking back at that time,
That is what tore us apart.
The drama.
I underestimated your sickness.
You sunk to a lower level than even
Them.
I couldn't believe you betrayed us.
I still can't.
You were so sweet,
Or so I thought.
But now i can't even look at you.
No, I guess I haven't forgiven you.
I don't know why they did.
What you did was unforgivable,
I hope you know that now.
What you did was cruel,
And I hate you for it.
You knew what you were doing
And yet, you did it anyway.
Back then
We were friends.
But it's over now.
