The Way You Did Things
You walk around with your head held low, staring everyone down with your eyes, a bottomless pit. Around me, you act like you never do anything, like you always listen to the angel on your right shoulder. But I always knew, and I always will know. The little angel tries it’s hardest to win you over, but the little devil with its horns and pitchfork takes you over to the dark side every time. Your victims become a pile of broken but undead souls, who will never get an answer. It is not too late to change, but the question is, do you want to change? Do you like your position above others, towering over them like the dark shadow that can only be overcome by the brightest of lights? The problem is, the people like you have extinguished almost all of the bright lights in the world, and pretty soon the world will be nothing more than a black void filled with heartless apathetic soldiers.
