The Earth MAG
The sky, a pretty watercolor
painted with one swift brush
The forest, an endless rainbow
picturesque and lush
The grass, a beautiful carpet
where we come to play
The flowers, happy children
blossoming with each new day
The mountains, purple shadows
of people from afar
The bushes, quiet observers
who watch the passing car
And me, a humble human
looking at the peace
Why can't we all live like this?
Why did we let it cease?
As I turn my face away
I see the beauty fade
Why don't we just clean up
the big mess we have made?
