Accepting Me
My name is Destiny, and I’ve been pigeon toed since birth. It’s a trait passed down from my mother that causes me to trip over my own feet. I’ve always hated buying shoes because they never fit right. I get teased because my feet turn in, yet it’s not my fault. In Kindergarten, I had to go through 3 extra hours of schooling each day because I couldn’t skip. Now I am 17, I still trip over my feet and I still get laughed at, and I’ll always hate wearing new shoes, but at least I learned how to skip.
