The article “Dorms in College…and Beyond,” written by Nicholas W., has made me think not only about money but about my future in college. This articles has taught me that not everything is cheap, and there are many things you don’t think about at all during your time in college. In the article it said that houses in San Francisco cost $3,405 a month. It amazes me how expensive a house can get. That much money a month is absolutely outrageous! One thing I liked hearing in the article was when Nicholas said, “A new company in San Francisco, Starcity, is renovating old buildings and turning them into modern dorms.” I think this is a fantastic idea because it saves money and time.

Nicholas also said, “Current residents are concerned about over development as nearly half voted to limit new, developments but the DCP increased the building height limit to create more housing units.” Not only is this a good idea, I think this should happen to a lot more buildings because it will not only help save some space in cities, but it will also protect wildlife from a new build in their area.
