What He Gave to Me
The writing titled "What He Gave to Me", written by Jane, talks about having someone so you don't feel lonely. Her writing left me feeling joyful. This story is about being lonely and acting happy even when you aren't. The author makes this story very relatable to all teens. When the author says, "I strained toward normalcy and the appearance of happiness, even though I felt as though I would shatter and fall apart." This part made me feel very connected to the story and I related to what she was saying. Another part that I enjoyed in the story is when she said, "My mood still changes as often as the weather, but he makes it better." I related to this part because even though I have so much t be grateful for and happy about sometimes I get very sad.
