Benefits of the Arts MAG
I agree with the author that schools need to continue providing art classes. They give students ways to express themselves, and exercise the right side of the brain, which is important. The arts make school fun, providing a break from all our “paper” work and giving us a chance to find or refine other talents. I don’t think schools should make us take more academic classes and get rid of electives like art and music.
