Well Dumpster Divers are people that go around in dumpsters and look for food, clothing, furniture, etc. This passage was written by Sugee L, she is from Missouri. This article was written in the October issue of the Teen Ink. This is a non-fiction piece that is very educational. There are also is the close cousin to the Dumpster Diver it is the Freegan. Freegan’s are basically people who try to spend as little as possible living in abandoned buildings, walk or bike and live a free life.

I really do not see a point in being a freegan when there are grocery stores all over town. Many people can afford clothing, food, etc. Unless you are very poor you shouldn’t have to dumpster dive. If freegans would just get a job they could buy food and other things that they need to live instead of getting used stuff which probably have diseases and other bacteria.
