"A Cornfield Misadventure"
“A Cornfield Misadventure,” in October’s issue of “Teen Ink,” by Paige D just made me laugh. Not only were they listening to Ke$ha the whole time but they even crashed Dukes of Hazzard style. I loved how she told the story, explaining her thoughts right before she told about it and even admitting to the bad choice of “hitting the gas.” She tried to brake on a gravel road going 35 mph and ends up in a corn field half way up a pole. How funny is that?
I guess we all have to learn to be careful on gravel roads sometime. I remember when I was riding my dirt bike into a gravel drive way and ended up skidding about 10 feet on my side. That taught me a lot. Anyways I think this non-fiction story will teach anybody who reads it a lot on being careful when driving and not “hitting the gas.”
