Junk Feedback
The article “Junk” by Joy R was fantastic. Her writing was something that I have seen before, even though it’s fictional. I always see people asking for change or food, and people just walk by without stopping. Like Joy said in the story, men and women walk by with their cell phones, or just walk by like they are not there.
The way she described the actions of the pedestrians was so realistic. I could easily visualize their actions and reactions to the woman trying to trade her bead necklace for food or money. The article would make you upset, thinking, “Why don’t those people help her, or give her some change?” when in reality, we all do the same.
