It's not Funny
I completely agree with the article “ It’s not Funny”, and the author's anger towards the two boys who ignorantly misuse the word rape. Nowadays, our youth is exposed to sources of media that blatantly make use the word for comedic purposes, teaching us to disregard the serious meaning of the word. I have members in my family that have suffered this horrible ordeal, and I know to respect their space and feelings towards the word. The bottom line is that our generation must be reeducated about subjects like these, and must be taught to not take the word so lightly.
